MHUSD High Schools Demonstrate Strong Gains on the 2025 California School Dashboard

Morgan Hill Unified School District is proud to highlight the strong performance of Ann Sobrato High School and Live Oak High School in the newly released 2025 California School Dashboard. The dashboard, published annually by the California Department of Education, provides a comprehensive look at school performance across multiple academic, engagement, and college- and career-readiness indicators.

This year’s results show meaningful improvement at both high schools, particularly in the areas most critical to students’ postsecondary opportunities. Both Ann Sobrato and Live Oak demonstrated growth in college and career readiness with increases in Career Technical Education (CTE) pathway completers, higher Advanced Placement (AP) exam pass rates, and expanded dual enrollment course completion. Graduation rates for the Class of 2025 at both schools now exceed 95%, reflecting strong academic support systems and coordinated efforts from counselors, teachers, and school staff. Student performance in English Language Arts and Mathematics also showed improvement, underscoring the impact of aligned instruction, targeted interventions, and high-quality teaching across both campuses.

These gains reflect the shared commitment of MHUSD educators, counselors, administrators, support staff, students, and families. Ongoing efforts such as Professional Learning Communities, four-year academic counseling plans, expanded learning opportunities, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and a strong focus on student wellness and belonging continue to support student success at both high schools.

As MHUSD continues to expand student pathways, strengthen instructional practices, and increase access to college- and career-preparatory opportunities, the district remains committed to ensuring that all students graduate ready for their next steps.
