To register for ESL or the HiSET program, you will need to submit:
  • A completed Application Packet
  • All entering students will take the state-mandated CASAS tests before being placed in a class.  The CASAS test will be scheduled once the Application Packet is turned in.

Please Note:  Testing can take up to 2 hours and does have to be done before you can begin class; however, it does not have to be done the same day as enrollment.  The placement test is required by law for all adult students in California and gives information to your teachers so they can better understand your individual needs.

To register for the Adult High School Diploma program, you will need to submit:
  • A completed Adult High School Diploma Application Packet
  • A sealed official transcript from the last high school or adult school that you attended. If you attended more than one school, you will need to make sure that the official transcript includes all high school credit that you have earned (if not, you may have to submit several transcripts).
  • A $40.00 CASH book deposit will also be needed before you can be placed in a class.  The book deposit will be returned to you when the book is turned in.
  • All entering students will take the state-mandated CASAS tests before being placed in a class.  This appointment for the CASAS test will be made once the Application Packet is turned in.

Please Note:  Testing can take up to 2 hours and does have to be done before you can begin class; however, it does not have to be done the same day as enrollment.  The placement test is required by law for all adult students in California and gives information to your teachers so they can better understand your individual needs.
