English as a Second Language

Adult English as a Second Language students of all ages are welcomed at the Community Adult School.  We provide English-Language literacy instruction to adults who wish to make a successful transition into American society and develop the skills needed to reach their professional and personal goals.  We offer multiple levels to support learning including beginning, intermediate, advanced, and high advanced.

The Community Adult School's English as a Second Language program will help you develop and improve your listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading and writing skills.

Depending on your individual goals, our English as a Second Language program will enable you to:

  • Achieve a high school diploma or HiSET program if you didn’t finish school in your native country

  • Improve your current job skills and/or obtain a better job

  • Continue to study English at a higher level

  • Begin a job training program

  • Enter College

Morning Classes:  Monday - Thursday

 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Location: Community Adult School 

Evening Classes: Monday - Thursday

6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. | Location: Community Adult School
