WELCOME TO MORGAN HILL COMMUNITY ADULT SCHOOL

Morgan Hill Community Adult School offers classes taught by highly qualified and experienced credentialed teachers that connect with students on a personal level where they are able to tailor instruction to fit the various needs of our students.  Their passion and enthusiasm for working with members of our community is exemplified through the thoughtful planning for lessons and focus on supporting adult learners. 

Our current program focus is threefold:

  • We offer four strands of English as a Second Language (ESL), Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced and High Advanced levels,
  • We have a comprehensive High School Diploma (HSD) program for students that may only need a few credits to complete the requirements to earn a high school diploma, 
  • We offer High School Equivalency Test Preparation classes (HISET) in English in preparation for the High School Equivalency Test,
  • Finally we offer an online option called Cyber High with courses that are designed to be self-paced, where students can work with a teacher providing additional direct instruction, or students can work completely independently.  

 All classes are offered both in the morning and in the evening.

We partner with the Morgan Hill Unified School District’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Center, to offer additional short term classes designed to support our MHUSD parent community. These class offerings take place at the Family and Community Engagement Center located next to Britton Middle School.  Current offerings include Basic ESL, Basic Spanish, as well as computer classes and various parenting courses.  These offerings are short term and vary by season, so please call the FACE center at 408-201-6173 for the most up to date information.

Our local needs are the highest priority to our staff and we survey our community and the surrounding areas to inform the development of a strong, comprehensive program that equips all students to achieve their academic best through a quality educational program in a diverse and safe learning environment, preparing each student for future success.
