Assembly Bill 86 provides for the development of consortia between adult schools and community colleges in order to provide a more consistent and comprehensive approach to adult education in California. Morgan Hill Community Adult School is taking part in the planning of a consortium, together with Gavilan College and other adult education providers in the South Valley and San Benito County. The expectation is that, by July 2015, the consortium will be in place. To keep yourself informed about this new and important development in adult education, visit the AB86 home page.
It is the individual teacher’s responsibility to maintain a current California credential. For information on credentialing, visit the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
